It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Faye Belton of Bassett, Virginia, born in Rocky Mount, Virginia, who passed away on September 15, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar C. Oliver and Annie Sue Oliver; her husband Arthur J. Belton, Sr.; and her siblings, Donnie Oliver, Dale Oliver, Lawrence Oliver, Leonard Oliver, Richard Oliver, Marion Oliver, Bobby Oliver, Sue Pearson and Wanda Conner.
She is survived by: her children, Arthur "Pete" Belton, Jr. (Beverly), Mark A. Belton, Sr., Tonuia L. Belton and Michelle Faye Belton; her grandchildren, Jacob C. Belton, Nicholas J. Belton, Sadie Rose Horsley and Carson Lake Horsley; and her siblings, Shirley DeHart, Ronnie Oliver and Tom Oliver.
