He is survived by: his wife Mary Cannaday Hollandsworth; his children, Brenda Wright (John) of Stokesdale and Dale Hollandsworth (Shelley) of Stuart, Virginia; his siblings, Jean Cassell and Carl Hollandsworth; his grandchildren, David Richardson, Stacy Richardson, Meagan Baker, Tara Kendrick and Zane Hollandsworth; and his great grandchildren, Adelynn Richardson and Ella Baker.
