He was predeceased by: his father Billie Jack, Sr.; and his brother Stanley Prater. He is survived by: his siblings, Deborah Trent (Chuck), Billie Jack Prater, Jr., Earnest W. Prater (Tammy) and Joseph C. Prater (Lynn); and his sister-in-law Vicki Prater. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
