He is survived by: his wife Lucy Cleo Bowman Blevins; his children, Donna Creel (Robbie) and James "Jimmy" Blevins (Tina); his sister Erma Thompson; his grandchildren, Justin Glass, Kelley Blevins, Jessica Glad (Matt), Michael Blevins (Ashley), Kasey Davis (Aaron) and Winston; his stepgranddaughters, Nikki McBride (Dennis) and Stephanie Keffer (Travis); his great grandchildren, Aubree, Kassidy, Declan, Jacob, Kristy and James; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Derek, Morgan and Kaci.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wright Funeral Service Chapel (1425 Greensboro Rd, Martinsville, VA 24112). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
