He is survived by: his wife Hilda Mitchell McAlexander; his daughter Sarah McAlexander Turner (Posey) of Collinsville; his brothers, Harvie McAlexander (Frances) of Summerfield, NC, Herbert McAlexander (Betty) of Danbury, NC, George McAlexander (Letha) of Rocky Mount and Glen McAlexander (Ruby) of Woolwine; his grandchildren, Jonathan Chaney (Nikki) of Mt. Holly, NC, Christopher Turner (Brandie) of Vinton, Amanda Chaney of Martinsville and Chelsea Turner of Collinsville; and his great grandchildren, Sheridan Chaney, Amara Turner and Christopher Turner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
