Bessie D. Turner Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie D. Turner of Bassett, Virginia, born in Critz, Virginia, who passed away on December 25, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie James Dillon and Ocie Ann Gilley Dillon; her husband Henry Lee Turner; and her siblings, Hardin Dillon, James Dillon, Frank Dillon, Bill Dillon, Mary Joyce, Barbara Dillon, Catherine Corns, Lee Plaster and Frances Richardson.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda; her son-in-law David Linkous of Christiansburg; her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Lorie Turner of Stuart; her grandchildren, Elena Linkous and Brandon Turner (Samantha Seay); and her sisters, Shirley Roark and Evelyn Rakes (Leo). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Due to the governor's requirements for Covid-19, a face covering is required and social distancing is to be observed.
