It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Lewis Wilson Jr. of Axton, Virginia, who passed away on April 7, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father John Lewis Wilson, Sr.; his wife Doris Lipford Wilson; his siblings, Gerald M., Herman L., Buddie Wilson and Joyce Hoar; and his great great grandchild Layla Dillon.

He is survived by: his children, Randall K., Dennis R. Wilson, Rita F. Joyce and Tina L. Wilson; and his sisters, Edna Collins and Laverne Shaffer. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and nine Great-grandchildren, Three Great-great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
