She was predeceased by: her father Walter Page Edwards Jr.; and her siblings, Laura Augusta Custalow and Walter Thomas Edwards Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Joseph George Scileppi; her daughters, Ann Paige Joyner Downing and Virginia Leigh Chenault (Roy); her grandchildren, Karrie Leigh Elswick (Nathan), Katherine Leanne Downing and Emily Kate Chenault; and her mother Virginia Rose Edwards Christiansen (Chris).
