She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Shelton and Vera Shelton; her children, Kathy Wilkerson, Kelvin and Sherry Shelton; and her siblings, Thomas, Earl Johnson, Herbert, Robert, Clarence, Lewis, Charles, James and Frances Shelton.
She is survived by: her husband Lionel Wood; her children, Janice Graves of Fort Washington, Robert Shelton (Yvonne) of Upper Marlboro, Tammy Scott (Mark) of Mineral, Harvey Shelton (Jackie) of Doswell, Leonell Harris (Darryl) of Mineral and Duane Wood (LaShanda) of Mineral; her siblings, Raymond Shelton, Vera Lee, Dorothy Hunter and Mary Alsop (Roger); and her friend Mary Coleman. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
