It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret L. Roye (Ashland, Virginia), who passed away on July 2, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethelene Johnson, and Oliver Johnson, Sr.; her husband William Roye, Sr.; her son Matthew Roye; and her siblings, Ethel Cole, Oliver Johnson, Jr., Helen King, Kathryn King, Joyce Johnson, Jean Hopson and Gandy Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, William Roye, Jr. (Renae), Adriane Oliver (Earnest), Broderick Roye (Ronda) and Constance Plummer (Glenn); her grandchildren, Genette (Jamaal), Brittany, Ashley, William III and Tyrek; her great grandchildren, Alayna, Amari, Peyton, Nehemiah and Honesty; her sisters, Ruby of Washington, Dorothy Boone, Nancy Bray and Linda Moore (Carroll); her brother-in-law Frank H. Cole; and also Demetrique Ferguson. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren and shopping with her daughters.
