He is survived by: his wife Edith Tyson Hunter; his son Chris Hunter (Lynn) of Monroe, NC; his granddaughter Evann Wheeler of Wingate, NC; and his great grandchildren, Hailey Wheeler, Christian Huntley, Nahla Huntley and Madison Huntley.
