She was predeceased by: her spouse Asa Terrell Martin; her parents, Charles Henry Tinnell and Rosa Johnson Tinnell; and her sisters, Rebecca Bryant and Doris Franklin.
She is survived by: her sons, Earl Wayne Martin (Sandra) of Appomattox and Donald Ray "Duck" Martin (Linda) of Appomattox; her grandchildren, Diron Martin (Lauren), Tina Roark (Johnnie) and Shana Martin Richardson (Lee); her great grandchildren, Daniel Ryan Evans, Avery Roark, Carsyn Roark, Lane Richardson and Marin Richardson; and her brothers, C. H. Tinnell of Chester and Ryland Tinnell (Mary) of Chester. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
