He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ellen McCloud Ferguson; his parents, Harry Thomas Ferguson, Sr. and Ada Carter Ferguson; his brother Herbert Wayne Ferguson; and his granddaughter Dana Doss Beckhouse.
He is survived by: his children, Wanda F. Doss (Dennis) of Appomattox and Larry T. Ferguson (Tammy) of Appomattox; his grandsons, Travis Ferguson (Whitney) and Eric Ferguson (Katherine); his great grandchildren, Ava Beckhouse, Chase Beckhouse, Vera Ferguson and Evelyn Ferguson; and his grandson-in-law Chris Beckhouse.
