She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward J. Poindexter and Lucy McDaniel Poindexter; her siblings, Mary Mariner, Ethel Foster and Warren Johnson; her nephew Ronald Mariner; her niece Denise Mariner; and her sister-in-law Wanda Forest Evans.
She is survived by: her husband Lloyd Forrest, Jr.; her daughter Lisa Forrest-Marshall (Leverne); her granddaughter Taylor Marshall; and her siblings-in-law, Arthur Foster, Shirley Robertson (Randolph), Ann Thomas Franklin (Vance), Darlene Reed, Edward Forest and Darnell Evans. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
