He was predeceased by: his parents, Spurgeon James Coleman and Mary Inge Coleman; his former wife Mildred Mann Coleman; his son Billy Larry Coleman; his grandson Mikey Schieren; and his siblings, David C., James B., C. Preston Coleman, Katie C. Williams and Janice Cash.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Ann "Sis" Clarke Ellis; his children, Dianne Daulton, Sharon Smith (Brian), Daniel Grady Ellis and Ida Clarke; his grandchildren, Amber Childress, Coy Coleman, Kelly Mitchell, Dayan Coleman, Amanda Hood, Josh Ellis, Justin Ellis and Garrett Ellis; his great grandchildren, Trey, Trinity, Chaney, Isaac, Asher, Nathaniel, Sadie, Lillianna, Colton, Corbin, Kylie and Emma; and his sister Shirley O'Brien. He is also survived by 8 great-great grandchildren.
