He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Dorton and Audry Dorton. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Dysart; his stepson William; his granddaughter Keshia; his great grandchild Oliva Grace Corder; and his siblings, William Ray, Sandy Dorton, Larry, Brenda Dorton, Michael, Christine Dorton of Powhatan, VA, Greg Goodson of Wise, VA, Donna Mohn of Appalachia and Teresa Gibson of Appalachia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
