She is survived by: her husband Joseph Bernard Murphy; and her children, Mary Murphy Hyland (Chuck) of Fairfax, VA, Julie Murphy Wells (Greg) of Arlington, VA, John Patrick Murphy (Barbara) of Fairfax, VA and Michael Joseph Murphy (Sherin) of Warrenton, VA. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
