She is survived by: her children, Brenda Butler (Herbert), Mary Ann Jenkins, Arlethia McIver (Bruce), Joseph Owens, Jr. (Geraldyne), Percell Owens (Marie), Ike Owens (Joan), William Owens (Joyce) and Robert Owens (Rosa); her siblings, Alice Tyler, Gladys Person, Helen Royal, Gloria Thompson and Leroy Bailey; her siblings-in-law, JoAnn Jennings, Frances Owens, Lawrence Owens, Sr. of Amelia, Virginia and John Owens of Amelia, Virginia; and her niece Dorothy Scott. She is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren; fifty-one great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
