We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Eleanor Wood Overstreet of Altavista, Virginia, born in Bedford, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Ira Wood and Ruby Rice Wood of Virginia; her son Freddie L. Overstreet, Jr.; her brothers, Mack Wood, Leonard Wood, James Wood, Sherman Wood, Maurice Wood and Charlie Wood; her nephews, Eddie Wood and Phillip Wood; and her niece Vickie Harris.

She is survived by: her daughter Angela Woodford (Troy); her grandchildren, April Dunbar and Caperton Overstreet; her great grandchild Tanner Dunbar; and her siblings, Raymond Wood (Carrie), Mae Brookshire, Frances Stanley (William) and Joyce Blankenship. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and lots of friends.
