It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Loflin Garbee (Alexandria, Virginia), who passed away on March 22, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy E. Loflin and Elgie Hopkins Loflin; and her husband William Tyler Garbee, Sr. (Bill). She is survived by: her son William T. Garbee, Jr. of Arlington, VA; and her sister Louella Caison of Denton. She is also survived by two grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
She was a member of Siloam Church, Denton, NC; Delta Kappa Gamma Society International (a professional society for educators); a volunteer for the American Cancer Society for many years as well as a volunteer to others when needed.
