It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mildred Ashe Reed (Alexandria, Virginia), who passed away on April 24, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Edwin Ashe (Mary), Janet Hogg (Jim) and Paul Ashe (Joanne); her friend George; and her close friend Ray Masten.
She is survived by: her former husband Paul R. Reed, Jr.; her children, Robert Marshal Reed (Debbie), James Calvin Reed, Ann Revere Reed (Carolyn Ivins), Amy Jane Reed Parker (Preston) and Joseph Paul Reed (Maria Childers Reed); her grandchildren, Ashlee Hidell (Tim), Alexandra Baker (Dan), Paige, Brent and Hope Reed; her stepgrandsons, Henry and Max Childers; and her great grandchildren, Brock, Marshal, Margot Hidell and Blake Baker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Midge's memory to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 301 King Charles Ave., Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971.
