We are sad to announce that on November 21, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Chaplain William D. Barton (Alexandria, Virginia), born in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul D. Barton and Ruby Seekman Barton; his wife Mary Katherine Deavers Barton; and his brother Harold "Corky" Barton. He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Barton Ripley (Alfred "Chip" Ripley) of Alexandria, Virginia; his granddaughter Heather Ripley Cooke (Trevor Cooke) of Culebra; and his sister Sharon Barton Dawson (Ed Dawson). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Mount Vernon United Methodist Church, the International Conference of Police Chaplains of Destin, Florida or please plant a tree in his memory.
