Ames of Savageville, VA; her children, Jonathan Ames (Laverne) of Midlothian, VA and Tangela Parker (Demetrious) of Delmar, DE; her grandchildren, Jonathan Kees (Catrice) of Bowie, MD, Jonta of Parksley, VA, JaQuana Ward of Parksley, VA, Jamesha Ames of Gargatha, VA and Danyelle Strand of Fayetteville, NC; her siblings, Mayfield Miles of New Church, VA, Pilton Chandler, Jr. (Nellie) of Monticello, NY and Harry "Ricky" Chandler (Maeswell) of Norfolk, VA; her stepsister Vivian Brunson of Phoenix, AZ; her siblings-in-law, Dorethea Chandler of Savageville, VA, Frances Chandler of Chesterfield, VA, Carlyse Giddins (Eugene) of Lewes, DE and Kenneth Miles of Salisbury, MD; her goddaughter Tammi Duffy of Fayetteville, NC; and her close friend Janice Giddens of Tasley, VA. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
