He is survived by: his children, Dwayne Holden, Herbert Holden, Jr., Kenyatta Sample (Demetria), Bernadette Strand, Barbara Duffy (Thomas), Shira Stallworth and Janell Harmon (Nathaniel); his siblings, Ethel (Warren Lee), Yvonne, Shelly, Daphine (Roland), Robin, Kimberly, Bernadette (Arthur), Tango, James, Dwight, Randall, Coston, Anthony and Doyle; his sisters-in-law, Linda Handy and Arnette Miller; and his close friends, Winfred Pettit and James Cox. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren.
