She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramona Braithwaite and Melvin Braithwaite; her sister Venita Stolworthy (Willard); her son Lance Bateman (Kay); and her great grandchild Lennon.
She is survived by: her siblings, Ron Braithwaite (Sharon) and Geri Robbins (Kurt); her husband Wayne Charles Bateman; and her children, Debra Tims (Jay), Steve Bateman (Karrie), Brad Bateman (Shelly), Jason Bateman (Joni), Lisa and Amy Draper (Todd).
