He was predeceased by: his sisters, Carol and Verlee; his son Brent Douglas (Meredith Middleton); his stepdaughter Twilla Dawn (Jed Hedges); his significant other Rea Pope; his foster son Ronald Navanick (Mary Shingoitewa); his daughter-in-law Loye Ann Mecham (Kevin); his sister Lawanna (Val Ross); and his siblings-in-law, Willis J. Southam (Carol) and Uvene Haws (Victor).
He is survived by: his siblings, Phillip, Victor, Ashel Jr., Glendon, Linda and ElvaLinn; his children, Kevin Kay (late Loye Ann Mecham), David Ashley (Kristie Jackson), Janice (Richard Brady), Arlene (Darwin Evans), Eric Karl (Joanne Harris Parrish), Sherry (Ty Corbridge), Katharyn "Katie" Louise and Verdon; his significant other Marilyn Beth Judd; his sons, Christopher J. (Pauline Richens), Spencer Judd (Annalynn Colvin) and Steven Cole (Tiffany McConkie); and also, Kim, Shelly, Twila, Michelle, Amanda, Paige, Connie, Eric, Drew and Dr. Woodward. He is also survived by 37 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
