He was predeceased by: his father Robert Ray Powell; his sister Roxanne Clark; and his nephew Ronnie Jones. He is survived by: his mother Norma Lucille Powell (Whitaker); his children, Rae Ann Christensen, Wesley Powell, Kelli Hanakeawe, Dani Rae Wilson and Derek Powell; his siblings, Eric Powell, Rod Powell, Debbie Fowler, Rhonda Jones, Wendy Owens and Susan Manwaring; and his former wife Dana Turner Powell. He is also survived by His grandchildren and great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
