He was predeceased by: his mother Wynona Barton (Carole Barton); his son Jeffrey Barton; and his brother Douglas Barton. He is survived by: his children, Stacie Moss (Thomas Moss), Steve Barton, Michael "Todd" Barton and Leslie Thompson. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
