Though Layne Mathew has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He is survived by: his husband Scott Richins; his brothers, Todd Jones (Melanie), Scott Jones (Janene) and Corey Jones; and his siblings-in-law, Michele Richins (David Tubbs) and Randy Richins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Starks Funeral Parlor (3651 S 900 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84106).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crossroads Urban Center.
