It is with great sadness that we announce the death of DeLaun Tischner in Salt Lake City, Utah, born in Santaquin, Utah, who passed away on October 2, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his significant other Geraldine "Gerry" Hatch; his parents, Elorum Tischner and Amanda Tischner (Beckstead); his sisters, Naoma Openshaw, Laveene Webb and Darlene VanZyl; his son Ryan Kelly Tischner; and his grandchildren, Christopher Eardley, April Howard and Angela Tischner.

He is survived by: his children, Holly Morton (Joe), Marianne Sites (Mark), Kati Davis (Randy), David, Laun (Cindy), Mike (Rebekah), Steve (Chris) and John; and his siblings, Lola Svedin, Glade (Janine), Dale (Sharon) and Paul Tischner (Spring).

“hey tishner family, my heart is broken for the loss of delaun ! he was amazing relative! grandma openshaw always took me to visit him and katy and randy and all them when i was younger! he willl be greatly missed!!! i love you all so much! if we dont make it down there me and my little family ! please know we are sorry we are just in middle of moving to a diffrent home in ogden utah!!! love amy, jay , piper terkelson !!! my dad brad said he sends his love and prayers too!”
