He was predeceased by: his parents, Ada Freece Nielson and Ferrel August Nielson; his brother Dan Nielson; and his great grandchild Domoni McGarvey. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lampman; his children, Susan Maggio (Paul), Troy Nielson (Dottie), Ken Nielson (Jeanine) and Dr. Craig Nielson (Michelle); and his sisters, Pat Johansen (John) and Sally Blohm (Don). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and spouses and 25 great grandchildren.
