He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Petersen and Hazel Petersen. He is survived by: his wife Donna Smeath Petersen; his siblings, Ernie, Jim and Vella; and his children, Sid, Mark, Karen (Mehra), Erik, Kristina (VanKatwyk) and Steven. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
The Covid Years we desperately tried to keep him safe and locked him up in his house with Archie, yet he finally got Covid and spent the week repairing the sprinkler-heads.
