It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Allen of Provo, Utah, born in Nephi, Utah, who passed away on May 29, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wanda Hancock Allen and Joseph Berry Allen; his wife Rhoda Gurena Robinson Allen; his siblings, Stanley Berry Allen, Shirley Rae Allen and Sherwin Carvel Allen; his daughter Traci Allen; and his grandson Christopher Troy Allen.
He is survived by: his brother Richard Lewis Allen; and his children, Blake Joseph Allen (Marion), Brent Jimmy Allen (Pauline), Troy Robinson Allen (Rita), Todd Berry Allen (Taunya), Juana Jo Badger (Matt) and Tawni La Salle (Taylor). He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, and 39 great-grandchildren.
Joe loved missionary work and families, and he requested that in lieu of flowers to please donate to the LDS Church Missionary Fund or to Primary Children's Hospital.
