He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Burns Henderson and Viola Broadbent Henderson; his brothers, Jack, Tom and Ivan (Iv); his children, Evan Henderson Jr. and Jamie (Margaret Irene Shipp); and his son-in-law Perry Chynoweth.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Irene Shipp; his children, Jackie, Julie, Joni and Justin; and his siblings-in-law, Verlene Henderson and Claire Shipp.
