It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of LaRue Larsen in Price, Utah, who passed away on February 18, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Stevenson and Effie Jensen Stevenson; her husband Donald Larsen; her grandchildren, Rodney Rowley and Robyn Rowley; and her sisters, Barbara Erickson, Viola Visser, Jean Taylor and Eileen Holmes.

She is survived by: her children, LaRue, Judy Rowley (Ray), Brent Larsen of Mesa, AZ and Brad Larsen of Scottsdale, AZ. She is also survived by her family and friends.

“What a wonderful woman! My mom, Maxine Gumbecht Sessions was your mom's dearest friend when young in Columbia. In 1978, my husband's job took us to Price, Utah. Ironically, my oldest son was going into the second grade and his teacher was, Mrs. Larsen. That was more than a conincidence. She was an amazing teacher. That summer, I surprised my mom, grandmother and uncle Ted Gumbrecht with a surprise get together at my home with many Carbon County friends. It was a wonderful reunion. Sharyn Heiner”
