She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Higley and Alona Wulffenstein Higley; her husband David Forte; her sons, John Forte and David Forte Jr.; and her brothers, Marion Ace Higley, Leonard Gene Higley and Ray Oliver Higley.
She is survived by: her brother Lawrence Higley; and her children, Alona Rodgers, Marion Forte, Gerald Forte, Lawrence Forte, Tereasa McGregor, Virginia Snyder, Linda Sours, Mellissa Higley, Matthew Forte, Mark Forte and Ruby Pierce. She is also survived by 22 Grandchildren, 23 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.
