He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Maiben and Grace Card Candland; his wife JoAnn Clements; his son Larry; and his siblings, Kay Candland, Harry Candland, Una Johnson and Coralie Green.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Candland, Cindy Clark and Cathy Adams (James). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
