He was predeceased by: his parents, Orien Andrew and Viola Ida Madsen Spencer; his former wife Daryhl Faye Hardman Spencer; his sisters, Marjorie Larsen, Loraine Healey and Carma Swain; and his grandsons, Casey David Turner and Lance Dee Fausett.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Sweat Bates Spencer; his children, Ralph Spencer (Cindy), Sherie Fausett, Deborah Kehl (Troy), Daryl Spencer (Jan), Morgan Spencer (Sherrill) and Clarence Spencer (Theresa); his stepchildren, Karl Bates (JoD'Ann), Leanna Milgate (Eric), Angie Wood (Mark) and Lora Jewett (Gary); and his brothers, Stephen Spencer (Joan), Clark Spencer and Mike Spencer (Joan).
