She was predeceased by: her parents, William Earl and Ruby Mae Stanley Giles; her husband Nyal J Smith; her son Curtis L Smith; her children-in-law, Geri Smith and Kenneth V Wootton; her grandson Neil Kenneth Wootton; and her siblings, Audrey Giles, Ruth Sulser and Boyd Giles.
She is survived by: her children, Nila and James Smith (Sheryl); and her siblings, Earlene Prescott and Stanley Giles (Diane). She is also survived by six grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren.
