She was predeceased by: her parents, Werner Clemens Schirmer and Anneliese Helene Wermann; her husband Robert Newell Wood Jr.; and her grandson Andrew. She is survived by: her sons, Jeffery (Rebecca) and Kevin (Jann); and her brother Steven Schirmer (Brandi). She is also survived by seven grandsons, one granddaughter, and ten great-grandchildren.
