He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne; his daughters, Elizabeth Spears of Chesapeake, VA and Jennifer Haglin of Park City, UT; his sons-in-law, Michael Spears and Peter Haglin; his granddaughters, Heidi, Holly and Sadie Rose; and his sister Karen Neumeister of Charlottesville, VA..
He served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Dex Media, Inc. and Linux NetworX, Inc. In addition, he served on the Board of Directors for Symmetricom, Inc., VA Software Corp., Covid Communications Group, Inc., Financial Executive Institute, and Advisory Boards for New York Stock Exchange International Capital Markets, and Chase Manhattan Corporations.
