He was predeceased by: his parents, Reed Snow Gardner and Margaret Pierpont Gardner. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Sprague Gardner; his children, Shari Olmstead (Eric), Lisa Pattenaude (Blair), Marci Dunne (Patrick) and Karen Dee (David); his stepson Matthew Rodgers (Caroline); and his siblings, Vilate Trussel, Reed Gardner and Jim Gardner. He is also survived by grandchildren.
