She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry Elden Stringfellow and Naomi Rasmussen; her sons, John (Ann), Jeff (Cindy), Joel (Libby), Jed (Amity) and Justin (Brandi); her husband Wayne Russel; and her grandson Luke. She was also cherished by 21 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
