He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph George Hellstern and Rosina Elizabeth Huss. He is survived by: his former wife Helen Cooley; his wife Wendy Duncan; his children, Rhett, Brandt, Darren, Brock, Bryce, Heather, Breanna, Tana and Parker; his stepdaughters, Kristen (James Kropf), Michelle (Aaron Theberge), MaryAnn (Bob Wofford) and Allison (Bryan Tidwell); and his siblings, Don (Cindy), Doug and Rosina Vega.
In lieu of flowers, per Ron's request, an account has been set up in his name at Anderson Seed and Garden Store in Logan to plant trees.
