She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Dickson and Genevieve Sill Dickson; her husband Merrill Holt Ashby; her brother Neil S Dickson; and her son-in-law Stephen R. Bastow.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Phelps Bastow-Christian (Wayne); her stepsons, Wade C. Ashby (Alice), Roy C. Ashby (Marni) and Dale C. Ashby (Ping); her brother Jan Dickson (Carolyn); and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Hope Dickson. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
