She is survived by: her former husband John Smith Huefner; and her children, Jonathan (Kim), Rebecca Chapman (Matt), William (Jami), Joseph (Rose), Catherine LaPorte (Michael) and Howard. She is also survived by her six children, she is survived by 30 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
