He was predeceased by: his parents, Santiago Gallegos and Trinidad Archuleta. He is survived by: his wife Amelia Garcia Gallegos; and his children, Maxine (Jose), Max Jr. (Lisa), Lisa (Juan), Victoria, Johnny, Michelle (Harry), Isaac, Bernadette and Sonny (Jen). He is also survived by 34 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
