Dewey Nelson and Clarice Ann Nelson; his former wife Holly Ann Carper; his wife Janet Ellen Burr; his close friend Janet; his children, Joseph Nelson (Alexie), Michael Nelson (Hilary), Sterling Black (Kara), Ashley Black, Walker Black (Katie) and Madison Nelson; his grandsons, Daniel and Nathan Nelson; and his siblings, Raquel Hutton (Gary), Rosalie Peterson (Jim), Nils Nelson (Becky) and John Nelson (Julie).
