He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbina Rowe and L. J. Long; his siblings, Wanda Johnson and Bernard Long; and his sister-in-law Florine Rowe.
He is survived by: his wife Cara; his children, RaeMonique Long, Caray Long (Chris Carpenter), Simone White (Chase) and Sean Long (Whitney); his grandchildren, Trey, Zion, Irie and Izzy White; his children, Jayce Brown, Angel, Janya and Kalee Bray; his mother-in-law Carol Starzl; his siblings, Larry Long (Sandra), James Long (JoAnn) and Rosemary Glenn; his brothers-in-law, Robert Johnson and Terry Starzl (Teddy); and his nieces and nephews, James Rowe Janet (Teresa), Christina (Lucas), Silva, Joseph Starzl (Julia) and TJ Starzl (Becca). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
