She was predeceased by: her father Donald Hughes; her brother Milton; her sisters-in-law, Sara Tonci Hughes and Alicia Higuera Hughes; and her great-nephew Saul Dwyer.
She is survived by: her mother Twila Wilson Hughes; and her siblings, Steven Hughes and Jeanne Joseph (Mark). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
